On Sunday, September 15, 2024, the Ministry of Royal Palaces, Honors, and Decorations announced that His Majesty King Mohammed VI will preside over the celebration of Mawlid Al-Nabi 2024, the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, at Hassan Mosque in Rabat.
The Ministry’s statement reads:
“The Ministry of Royal Palaces, Honors, and Decorations announces that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, will preside over the celebration of Mawlid Al-Nabi at Hassan Mosque in Rabat, starting at 6:30 PM on Sunday, 11th of Rabi’ al-Awwal 1446 AH, corresponding to September 15, 2024.”
